Investors get unique exposure to digital assets through strategic futures contracts and blockchain industry investments
Ark Invest, the investment firm headed by Cathie Wood, is set to launch a new suite of digital asset Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in collaboration with 21Shares. This move comes at a time when the market is eagerly anticipating a decision on spot bitcoin ETFs.
The partnership between Ark Invest and 21Shares aims to offer investors a unique opportunity to gain exposure to digital assets. However, it's important to note that these funds will not directly invest in Bitcoin or other digital assets. Instead, they will strategically invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum futures contracts, as well as in companies engaged in the blockchain industry.
The suite of digital asset ETFs will be listed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). This includes five ETFs, all aimed at providing long-term capital appreciation. The ETFs will utilize crypto-specific insights and traditional indicators to maximize returns.
One of the ETFs will focus on investing in public equities of companies within the blockchain industry. This strategy provides investors with holistic exposure to the growth of blockchain technology, which is an integral part of the digital asset ecosystem.
This launch could be a game-changer for investors looking to integrate digital assets into their portfolios. It offers a way to participate in the growth of the digital asset market without the need for direct investment. However, as with all investments, potential investors should carefully consider their risk tolerance and investment objectives before investing in these ETFs.
